Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 April 2026

These are the terms under which you use PawSeeBility. They’re short on purpose.

1. What the app is

PawSeeBility generates playful, fictional paw readings from photos of pets and plush companions. It is entertainment. It is not medical advice, veterinary advice, psychological advice, legal advice, or financial advice. Do not make decisions about a real animal’s (or human’s) health or well-being based on a reading.

2. Bring-your-own OpenAI key

To generate readings you provide your own OpenAI API key. When you use PawSeeBility with your key, you are the party interacting with OpenAI. You agree to comply with OpenAI’s terms of use and to cover any OpenAI charges incurred by your key. We don’t see your key and don’t bill you for anything.

3. No warranties

The app is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee that readings will be accurate, appropriate, or even grammatical. We don’t guarantee uptime, battery efficiency, or that background walk tracking will survive every OS update.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, PawSeeBility and its author are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including (but not limited to) lost data, missed walks, OpenAI bills, hurt feelings about a plush toy, or misinterpretation of a reading.

5. Acceptable use

  • Don’t upload photos of people who haven’t consented to being analyzed, especially children.
  • Don’t try to use readings as clinical, diagnostic, or forensic evidence. They are not that.
  • Don’t circumvent OpenAI’s or Mapbox’s terms by way of this app.

6. Changes

These terms may change. When they do, the date above will update. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
