Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 April 2026
These are the terms under which you use PawSeeBility. They’re short on purpose.
1. What the app is
PawSeeBility generates playful, fictional paw readings from photos of pets and plush companions. It is entertainment. It is not medical advice, veterinary advice, psychological advice, legal advice, or financial advice. Do not make decisions about a real animal’s (or human’s) health or well-being based on a reading.
We care about every companion in the app. If you have any doubt about your companion’s health or behavior, please contact a real veterinarian — do not wait on anything the app says. Even if you have used the premium in-app vet feature and are expecting an answer, do not wait for it in a situation that worries you: call your own vet, or an emergency clinic, and let them tell you how urgent it is. The app, including any AI-assisted vet feature we offer, is never a substitute for a licensed professional examining the animal in front of them.
2. Third-party services
PawSeeBility relies on third-party services to deliver some of its features: OpenAI (for AI-generated readings and the Vet helper), Mapbox (for the Walks map), Supabase (for Pack sharing), and your device’s app store (for installation and for any premium purchases). Using a feature powered by one of these services means you also agree to that provider’s terms: OpenAI, Mapbox, Supabase, and Apple’s / Google’s store terms where applicable.
3. Free and premium features
The app offers both free and premium features. Premium features are billed separately from these terms: the price, billing cadence, and cancellation path are shown at the point of purchase and handled by your device’s app store under its own subscription and refund policies. Nothing in this section changes the health and veterinary guidance in §1 — premium or not, the app does not replace a real vet.
4. No warranties
The app is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee that readings or Vet-helper answers will be accurate, appropriate, or even grammatical. We don’t guarantee uptime, battery efficiency, or that background walk tracking will survive every OS update.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, PawSeeBility is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including (but not limited to) lost data, missed walks, third-party service charges, hurt feelings about a plush toy, or misinterpretation of a reading or Vet-helper answer.
6. Acceptable use
- Don’t upload photos of people who haven’t consented to being analyzed, especially children.
- Don’t try to use readings or Vet-helper answers as clinical, diagnostic, or forensic evidence. They are not that.
- Don’t use the app to circumvent the terms of any of the third-party services listed in §2.
7. Changes
These terms may change. When they do, the date above will update. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
